plaingaintrain (6 hours ago) @shingo i literally said put an smtp relay in front of it so you dont have to worry about having good IP reputation. Many offer free quotas. Email isnt secure anyways so who cares if they see what you send. And you own what you recieve

StarBlitz (2 days ago) @shingo I don't know why I said "hosting my own email" like I was self hosting, that email I relied with serv00's emails.

shingo (2 days ago) @StarBlitz Don't host your email, just own the domain. Use another service like Purelymail or Proton to do the actual hosting. They make sure their email service IPs have good reputations and do all the hard parts for you to make sure mail is deliverable.

StarBlitz (2 days ago) @shingo I mainly worried about using my own hosted email to sign up to stuff because some websites don't accept allow that.

I remember I had used my own hosted email on my old domain for discord, a few months later I reinstalled my Distro and tried signing into discord and it said my email didn't exist, thats why I haven't tried that again.

I could spend some more money on another domain, try it again, and maybe not use that email for discord.
