@PlayfulCandy the left leans more towards acceptance and tolerance and empathy for others. The right typically only care about themselves but use the Bible to justify it. They pick and choose what they want to follow and they spread hate and say it's God's will or God's word. It's pretty sick. They said that everything they preach is comes from their beliefs and religion but I think they're just using that as an excuse to spread hate because God clearly states to love and accept everyone.

@PlayfulCandy Yeah lmk and why are you only spending a day in LA?

That's great! I'm going to be in Los Angeles on September 20th, but that's just for a day. I can probably come to Colorado sometime, but it'd just be for the weekend

@PlayfulCandy My summer's been delightful. Lots of work but I traveled to LA with a few of my friends. When are you traveling to Colorado again?

That was a while ago, he already called them out back then. Nowadays, he's too busy to even think about their existence. Enough about them, how's your summer going?

@PlayfulCandy I was told about Brandon visiting you and finding out how pitiful these deadbeats are. You had to disassociate yourself from them bc that's the obvious decision.

@Kaykat You're more than welcome! No one in the world today is perfect, but you'd give Christianity a much better name than someone who constantly reviles others. That's why I think Christianity is politically unbiased, that you can lean left and still be a Christian. I've met plenty of authentic Christians, they value all parts of the Bible regardless of political narratives.

Aside from the comments, I don't know how much our based friends told you. You're not wrong though, all three of you were catalysts to my disassociation.

In a way, it's similar. You can disagree with an action without hating the person (assuming the action isn't heinous). You don't even have to judge the person, it's even valid to be humble about being dealt an easier hand. However, I can't compare myself to an authentic Christian. I like to think I'm way less toxic than before, but I'm not wholesome or selfless enough to meet those standards.

@playfulcandy thanks! I don't claim to be a huge Christian or anything, I'm not perfect, but I do always try to be a good person and treat people kindly and fairly and equally.
