i think its cool to just find a random movie to watch knowing nothing about it before hand. i watched american history x on a discord call with a friend with him just screensharing his pc with the movie on. knowing nothing about it before and its now one of my favorite movies.

Very seldom has a blind buy for a movie been an epic fail. Usually I read the synopsis, find out who is in the cast, ask if the producers and directors are reputable. If it looks like something fun to watch, I will take a chance. "Coming Home" from 1978 and "The Public Eye" from 1992 were my best blind buys.
