I lost 120 Euro in 2010 to a Italian Ebay seller who only took bank transfer IBAN and BIC numbers the seller just took my money and never send me anything it was a vintage 486 computer back then European Ebay was unsafe because of bank transfers unlike American Ebay that only allowed safe payments with Paypal. if you use Paypal never use friends and family option if you send money to a stranger and avoid bank transfer.
Yeah you were scammed. That person should've NEVER have tried to say they made fursuits when they know good and damn well they didn't. Sorry this happened to you!
@BTimeCDDrop Yeah, the artist I commissioned at least has experience in suits and I think most of them practice by doing their own OC first and then looking into doing it for others depending on how well they did, this artist just seemed to jump the gun on fursuit making and it's such a shame that this will most likely ruin the reputation of alot of smaller creators /:

i think the solution to avoid getting scammed is find a big company with hundreds of reviews to make one or maybe go to the furrysuit makers house and see them irl building it and pick it up directly from their house or factory
are furries rich or something? because i know alot of these guys making furry porn or selling fursuits get very rich from it so like i assume furries must be rich or upper middle class to afford paying thousands for a rule34 patreon or a fursuit. i dont think starving kids in africa are furries
