i used to watch phantomstrider back then (not really proud of it yeah) but somehow i don't remember him ever reviewing this, must've slipped past my radar at the time

This is the sort of shit i'd enjoy when i was 15, also man people still know about Where the dead go to die, i watched that way back, yea the movie is surprisingly from 2012, one of the animators became a neo-nazi if i remember it correctly, also yea, the director was on drugs and i think he wanted it to be a comedy

@MarkTheSecman yeah where the dead go to die was cray, i could it being a comedy but it def wouldnt be my first choice for a laugh lol
I liked the character design tho, Yume was kinda cute, she reminds me of Yui Hirasawa
I watched this back then and yeah, I hated it too. Although there was a scene which genuinely made me laugh for how stupid that was. It was in good company though, as back then Zankyou no Terror (Terror in Resonance) also came out, and that was genuinely the worst thing Watanabe has made. Perhaps the worst anime with the best production value ever.
