@SkibidiCoffee vidlii is closer to newgrounds where the average person who joins makes stuff instead of just watching stuff. that's one of the cool parts about it.

@aniki makes sense. I don't want vidlii to become a slop farm like rumble and odysee is where it's just videos uploaded to a void without a community or comments or anything or the creator being active. One of the best things about vidlii is how interactive it is compared to other YouTube alts where it feels like an empty void and meaningless to use.

@SkibidiCoffee we won't add that for a few reasons. vidlii isn't supposed to be a dumping ground to come and archive your videos - it's supposed to be a place to upload and participate. another important reason is that the feature will be like a mcdonalds ice cream machine - always broken.

What if you guys added a migration feature since alot of people are coming to vidlii recently in the last 2days. What if you add a feature where you can link your YouTube channel to vidlii and have it automatically upload all the videos from your channel to vidlii to make it easy for people? I know odysee and rumble have it. The ability for videos to be uploaded to the site automatically from someone's YouTube channel.

Would also be nice if channel backgrounds could be increased to 8mb limit instead of 3mb, it's really difficult to compress colors and still have things looking good.

At least in my case with all the graffiti, I have to pull some tricks and use quantization on the color palette to even get it to barely fit.

@TowerDude your idea is really good tbh. And the idea of mixing audio channels would benefit Muslims too since music is a sin so they could turn off the music in videos although I think there's only like 3muslims on vidlii but your idea would be useful for alot of people is what I'm saying

I don't know if this should be partner or dontation feature but man, I really want support for multiple audio channels (or uploading an additional audio file as a 'channel').

Imagine I upload some gameplay with commentary, you can individally mix each audio channel to your preference, or if you don't want commentary at all, just mute my ass.

No site does this currently.
