If you go to Japan. Please visit shiga and fukui prefecture if you want nature and to escape the big cities. Although they have some cities in it but not Tokyo or Osaka levels. And shiga is not that far away by train from Kyoto and Osaka train station and fukui is easy to get to from shiga because it borders. Like those 2prefectures are literally just hidden gems right there right next to Osaka and Kyoto yet everyone misses them. Source: I live in shiga and visit fukui all the time since near by
